With a legacy spanning over four generations, we invite you to explore our world of traditionally crafted condiments, confectionery, and chocolates. Products range from tangy marmalades, spicy sauces to moorish sweet treats and decadent chocolates.
Maxwell’s Treats boasts the largest selection of condiments in Australia. Developed on tradition, our quality range is crafted in a modern HACCP approved facility. Our range includes jams, marmalades, relishes, sauces, dressings, aiolis, syrups and more.
In Berry we handcraft a range of chocolates and old-fashioned confectionary. Step inside the store and be greeted by the tantalizing scent of simmering fudge and brittles. From timeless classics like rocky road to indulgent Belgian chocolates, our sweet treats cater to every taste and preference, delighting young and old alike.
We also stock other popular Australian confectionery brands, as well as popular European & American favourites ensuring there's something to satisfy every palate.
The Dairy Bar
Welcome to The Dairy Bar, where you can take a seat at our udderly delicious milk bar café. Satisfy your sweet tooth with our freshly churned gelato, made in-store, or treat yourself to one of our irresistible icy cold milkshakes or sundaes. The Dairy Bar has you covered with breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea including your caffeine needs. Relax on our undercover outdoor deck, where you may even catch a glimpse of the herd grazing in the adjacent pastures.
Located in the historic Berry Central Creamery, The Dairy Bar offers a unique blend of history and dining experience. As the first factory in NSW to adopt pasteurization of cream for manufacture into butter, our location holds a special place in the region's dairy industry heritage.

DIY Giant Freckle: Choose your chocolate base and decorate your own Giant Freckle with a variety of toppings. While it sets, discuss how chocolate is produced and explore different chocolate types, then take your creation home in a beautiful gift box.
DIY Chocolate Box Workshop: This is our most advanced class. Participants craft their own selection of Belgian Chocolates to place into a Chocolate Box. Various methods are used to create a range of chocolates. Participants leave with a lovingly made box of their own creations.

Chocolate demonstration: Indulge in our Chocolate Demonstration for only $10 per person, where you'll delve into the origins of chocolate, sample various types, and witness our skilled staff craft this delectable treat before your eyes.
Devonshire Tea: Treat your group to morning or afternoon tea, also priced at $10 per person. Enjoy a house-baked scone with fresh whipped cream and Maxwell's Treats jam, accompanied by your choice of percolator coffee or tea.
Lunch Box: Looking for a heartier option? Our Lunch Box package at $20 per person includes a seasonal sandwich, a house-baked scone with fresh whipped cream and Maxwell's Treats jam, and your choice of percolator coffee or tea.

How to find us
The Treat Factory is located in historic Old Creamery Lane, an easy five minute walk or two minute drive from the centre of Berry, on the South Coast of NSW. Only two hours from Sydney or three hours from Canberra, Berry is a beautiful rural escape with excellent shopping, fantastic eateries, wonderful wineries and a splendid landscape.
To get to The Treat Factory from Berry's main street (Queen Street / the Princes Highway), go down Prince Alfred Street and cross the railway tracks. Turn right down Old Creamery Lane, go past the South Coast Dairy and Rural Co-op, and The Treat Factory is at the end on the right side of the lane, opposite lush green fields with local herds of dairy cows.
